On the margins of the international conference “LEAP 22”, a memorandum of understanding (MOU) had been signed between Ministry of Communications & Information Technology of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Desert Technologies Group, the first Saudi company to manufacture and export solar panels in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, aiming to support and develop investment in renewable energy and digital infrastructure in KSA & developing countries, according to Saudi Vision 2030.
          This memorandum also aims to support reliance on solar energy, including cell phone power data in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through Sahara Solar Containers, specially with the rapid expansion in the fifth generation services plans, with the number of governorates covered with the fifth generation reaching 60 governorates in various areas of KSA.
