Within the framework of ICCD`s strenuous efforts towards supporting the Islamic economy and enhancing its resilience to confront various crises and challenges, H.E. Mr. Yousef Khalawi, Secretary-General of ICCD, met with H.E. Dr. Ma’ruf Amin, Vice-President of the Republic of Indonesia, on Thursday, September 8, 2022, in the office of the Vice President in Jakarta, Indonesia, aiming at exploring aspects of joint cooperation between the two parties in various economic and developmental fields.   

The Islamic Chamber for Commerce, Industry and Agriculture is honored to announce the successful closure of ICCIA’s 33rd Board of Directors meeting and 38th General Assembly Meeting, chaired by H.E. In light of ICCIA`s ongoing efforts to achieve sustainable development in all Member States, we have the honour to announce the successful conclusion of the regional workshop entitled “Microfinance and the Transition to Sustainability”, which was held – in person and virtually – in partnership with the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce (FEDCOC), and sponsored by Albaraka Forum for Islamic Economy, on 14 – 15 June 2022, at FEDCOC Headquarters- Cairo.   

The Eighth Africa Future Forum “Africa Forum of Investment and Commerce” witnessed wide participation and successful conclusion in the presence of prominent high-level government officials, ambassadors, international businessmen and representatives of economic institutions from more than 30 countries, under the title “African Production” on 11-12 May 2022 in Algiers.

La Chambre Islamique a l’honneur d’annoncer la clôture de la septième session du CC Forum “Investissement Mondial dans le Développement Durable”, qui s’est tenue sous le patronage de Son Altesse Royale le Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Prince héritier et Premier Ministre du Royaume de Bahreïn, et à laquelle la Chambre a participé en tant que partenaire média, le mardi 22 mars et le mercredi 23 mars 2022, à l’hôtel Four Seasons à Manama – Royaume de Bahreïn.

Dans le cadre des tentatives visant au renforcement de la coopération économique entre les pays de l’Organisation de la Coopération Islamique, la Chambre Islamique de Commerce, d’Industrie et d’Agriculture (CICIA) et l’Organisation Islamique pour la Sécurité Alimentaire (OISA) ont signé un mémorandum d’entente, dans le but de soutenir le commerce intra-régional et l’investissement, et contribuer au développement du secteur privé dans le domaine agroalimentaire dans les États membres de l’Organisation de la Coopération Islamique.
