With COVID-19, the world is moving into a New Work Order fueled by the rapid need for digitization and technology infused virtual methods of learning, earning and living. But what does that mean for the world at large and ICCD member countries in particular. The goal of this session is to explore answers to the following questions and discuss the steps ICCD member countries would have to take to tackle this phenomenon to sustain and grow their economies.
- What is the virtual world and how does it affect the overall future of the ICCD member countries?
- What industries within the ICCD are the ripest for digital and virtual disruption and what do these disruptions look like?
- What new business models are emerging in COVID-19 and how are the 4th Industrial Revolution trends like Artificial Intelligence, Block chain, Internet of Things and Big Data adding more dimensions into the mix?
- What kind of digital and technology strategy, policy, infrastructure and skillsets are needed for ICCD countries to compete in this virtual world of eLearning and ecommerce?
