ICCD & Kadin Drive Indonesia’s Business Sector Forward through an Interactive Workshop Series

In a significant step towards fostering economic growth across OIC member countries, the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development (ICCD) organized an interactive series of workshops, in collaboration with the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin), from 19th to 21st August, 2024, at Kadin’s Headquarters in Jakarta, the Republic of Indonesia, in the presence of Indonesian business leaders and distinguished chambers’ representative, paving the way for a progressive business community.
In this regard, H.E. Mr. Yousef Khalawi, Secretary-General of the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development (ICCD), illuminated the significance of this endeavour as a cornerstone of ICCD’s commitment to propelling the private sector within OIC member nations.
Additionally, he underscored the necessity of amplifying capacity building, nurturing a proficient workforce, and forging a sustainable chamber model, stating: “Our mission is to represent our members, support them, and serve them”.
This workshop series comprises three workshops, the inaugural one delved into the theme of “Strategic Communication for International Organizations”, aiming to utilize the power of communication to enhance organizational standing, by exploring diverse strategies for developing and executing communication plans, mastering crisis management techniques, and establishing meaningful ties with industry leaders and experts.
The 2nd workshop entitled “Digital Marketing for International Organizations” took place with an insightful vision to provide valuable insights into crafting influential marketing approaches, engaging audiences across various platforms, and remaining at the forefront of dynamic trends that enhance organizational visibility and credibility.
Forging innovative avenues towards business success, the 3rd workshop was held under the theme “Developing Chambers of Commerce and Maximizing their Services”, to empower chambers of commerce in advancing business growth, nurturing innovation, and championing policies that cultivate a favorable business landscape.
As part of ICCD’s ongoing mission to drive economic development and enhance the position of its members on the international arena, this enlightening event celebrated the launching of the ICCD Report “Indonesia in the Key International Economic Indicators”, which tackles Indonesia’s performance on the global stage, providing a comprehensive classification and comparative analysis with last year’s rankings.
