ICCD Participation at the 5th International Forum of Chambers of Commerce and Industry

“As the world changes rapidly, there is a pressing need for increased collaboration between states and the private sector. Such forums should leverage opportunities to enhance our partnerships as part of a global economic transformation, focusing not only on economic growth but also on cultural exchange, digital innovation, and sustainable development”.

H.E. Mr. Yousef Hassan Khalawi, Secretary-General of the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development (ICCD), delivered an insightful welcome address at the Grand Opening of the International Forum of Chambers of Commerce and Industry, held on the sidelines of the 16th International Economic Forum “Russia – Islamic World: Kazan Forum,” taking place from May 13 to 18, 2025, in Kazan, Republic of Tatarstan – Russian Federation.

The opening gathered distinguished representatives from Chambers of Commerce around the world to explore pathways for enhancing global cooperation, not only in the economic and trade sectors, but also in the realms of science, technology, society, and culture.
