Believing in the significance of fostering the global Halal industry, the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development (ICCD), represented in the Islamic Chamber Halal Services (ICHS), and as one of the founders of Manafea initiative, organized the second edition of Makkah Halal Forum under the theme “Sustainable Development through Halal”.
The Forum was held under the patronage and in the esteemed presence of H.E. Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi, the Saudi Minister of Commerce, from 25 to 27 February 2025 at Makkah Chamber Exhibitions and Events Center, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, laying the foundations for a promising future for the global halal market.
The Forum brought together a distinguished group of Halal leaders from around the world in a program rich with diverse activities, featuring participation from over 120 countries. It included panel discussions, interactive workshops, and an international exhibition showcasing Halal services and products, with 150 exhibitors from more than 15 countries. The event also featured live Halal cooking shows and the signing of 15 cooperation agreements, reflecting the participants’ commitment to supporting and enhancing international collaboration for a brighter future for the global Halal industry.
