In a pivotal moment that unites the spirituality of the place with aspirations for the future, Makkah Al-Mukarramah hosted the 41st General Assembly Meeting of the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development (ICCD) on Monday, February 16, 2026, with participation from presidents and high-level representatives of federations and chambers of commerce from 24 Islamic countries, along with a distinguished group of decision-makers and business leaders, to explore avenues for enhancing economic integration between Islamic nations and unifying efforts to establish a cohesive commercial and investment framework that serves the interests of over two billion Muslims worldwide.
Reaffirming its steadfast dedication to advancing the global Islamic economy, the Islamic Chamber of Commerce & Development (ICCD) convened the Indonesia–B57+ Multilateral Business Roundtable, titled “Integrating Markets Through Enhanced Connectivity, Trade, and Investment in the Islamic World,” in partnership with the Indonesian Business Council (IBC).
Following the impressive success of its inaugural edition, the Sustainable Tourism Forum & Expo returns for its 2nd edition “Transforming Tourism for Community Development”, organized by the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development (ICCD), under the esteemed patronage of the Ministry of Commerce and the Board of Investment, Government of Pakistan, on January 21 – 22, 2026, at PC Hotel, Karachi, Pakistan.
In an effort to deepen economic integration and empower private-sector actors across the Muslim world, the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development (ICCD) hosted a high-level Halal Reception in Thailand, bringing together senior government officials, high-level international partners, and private-sector representatives, to foster collaboration in trade, investment, and values-driven collaboration between regional and global stakeholders.
The Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development (ICCD), in partnership with the KSI Strategic Institute for Asia Pacific, the World Digital Chamber, and Global One, organized the Global Muslim Business Forum 2025 (GMBF 2025); an international gathering took place on 8 December 2025 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, under the theme: “Empowering the Future: Innovation, Investment, and Sustainable Growth in the Muslim World”.
