Out of ICCIA’s belief in the pivotal role of halal industry in achieving the economic development across its member states, Ms. Samrah Qureshi, International Relations Associate, represented ICCIA in the consultative meeting to discuss the “Global Halal Ecosystem Assessment” study conducted by the Islamic Development Bank Center of Excellence in Kuala Lumpur and Halal Development Corporation of Malaysia (HDC), to identify the needs and gaps of enhancing partnerships, investments, and markets linkages in the Halal sector.
During the meeting, the OIC institutions shared recommendations on this study before its publication, as well as various means for strengthening joint collaboration between them in areas of promoting the OIC Halal Industry globally.
