In an effort to enhance the economic ties between the People`s Democratic Republic of Algeria and the Arab Republic of Egypt, Mr. Alaa Alezz, General Manager of the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce, met with Ms. Wahiba Behleul, General Manager of the Algerian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, on Thursday, December 23, 2021, via Video Conference.
          During the meeting, it was emphasized that both parties must work together to overcome the challenges that face the economy of the two countries, through increasing bilateral commercial exchange and exchanging economic delegations between the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce and the Algerian Chamber of Commerce. The two parties also agreed on the reactivation of the Algerian- Egyptian Business Council, and organizing an economic forum in the first third of 2022.
It is noteworthy that the Algerian- Egyptian Business Council, which has been reactivated during this meeting, was officially established in 2019.
