The 5th edition of Future Investment Initiative has been held entitled: “Investment in Humanity”, on Oct. 26-28, 2021, at King Abdulaziz Conference Centre- KSA, with the participation of 2000 missions and 5000 decision makers, policy makers, businessmen, investors and inventors.
While Future Investment Initiative aims at promoting artificial intelligence, robot sciences, education, health care and sustainability, its 5th edition aims at promoting investment for achieving further profit, through a series of interactive sessions, that will address ways of investment in: safe water, education, public health, gender equality and poverty alleviation.
The 5th edition of Future Investment Initiative led to a partnership worth $ 200 million between NEOM & One Web, submission of regional headquarters licences to 44 international enterprises to engage in KSA, signing a memorandum of understanding between ENNISMORE & Tourism Development Fund on launching investment fund with a capital of SAR 1.5 billion for developing more than 12 hotel in KSA, and launching Wadi Eldammam Company, that is possessed by Elimam Abdulrahman ben Faisal, for achieving Saudi Vision 2030.
Within the framework of this event, the participants highlighted the importance of low- carbon economy, developing necessary resources of energy security and sustainability as a major means for establishing healthy & more productive economy.
It is noteworthy that thanks to the previous editions of Future Investment Initiative, partnerships worth more than $50 billion had been held among investors in 2019.
